802 Characteristics for Model LF-SFT-O Packing |
The matrix material of Model SFT-O Graphite Integrated Packing
is mixed with carbon fiber, which is braided meticulously, and
several kinds of other materials. Except having the characteristics
what average carbon fibers have, it also has the characteristics
of high- temp resistance(450℃), high compressive resilience
and low density. So it is applicable widely to the sealing points
for harsh requirements, which need higher service temperature
and pressure, such as splitting boiler in the petrochemical
devices. Since being put on the market, the use effect is good
through being used by the heavy petrochemical units such as
every works of Qilu Petrochemical Co. and Refining Plant of
Daqing General Petrochemical Works. The long-term sealing problems
were solved. It has following characteristics comparing with
average carbon fiber packing. 1.It has the characteristics for
resisting extremely strong acid, alkali, salt, oils and various
solvents.
2.The high-temp-resisting performance embodied fully the advantage
of carbon fiber.
3.It has better compressive resilience and stronger anti-pressure
and fatigue strength.
4. It can be used repeatedly after being dismantled as overhauling.
If the gland of
packing case has not been tightened after long-term use, fresh
material can be added
continuously into the case, and there is no need to removing
the original material.
5.Because of the lower coefficient of linear expansion, the
good sealing properties
can be kept when the medium temperature and load magnitude change
suddenly.
6.Because of that the materials what to be used are non-corrosive,
there will be
no pitting and corrosion to the metal in the working area. Thus,
no leakage could
happen during being used.
7.Since high carbon fiber is a conductor, adopting this packing
in the anti-exploding
place of all trades and professions, especially in sealing points
of the devices used
in petrochemical profession as well as the device which may
produce static
electricity,is safe and dependable.
8.Because of adopting new mixing method, it can be avoided that
the accumulation
of temperature rising for interface friction caused by too high
content of PTFE and the
friction heat produced by changing suddenly lead to ill-effect
of leakage, even
stopping rotation of valve stem.
9.It may be cut and filled easily as the lower density and rigidity;
therefore the intensity of labor is lightened greatly. |
